A renewed wave of U.S. airstrikes has intensified uncertainty for many people in Iran, with residents describing growing concerns over rising living costs, job security and the future as hostilities continue.

Interviews with several Iranians revealed that daily life has become increasingly difficult after a period of relative calm under a fragile ceasefire. Many said they are struggling with inflation, unstable employment and the emotional toll of not knowing how the conflict will develop.

A photographer in Tehran said the cost of weekly groceries had nearly doubled compared with prices before the war. She described the uncertainty surrounding the conflict as one of the greatest sources of stress, saying it had become difficult to make even short-term plans.

Another resident from Sanandaj, a psychotherapist, said the sharp decline in the value of Iran's currency had made plans to study abroad financially impossible. She added that concern for her family's safety during previous attacks had also influenced her decision to remain in the country despite the ongoing conflict.
